I read
somewhere that if you find a job you love, you'll never work a day. I find
myself fortunate enough to have found such a job. I am an art and craft
teacher. It is my passion to create things out of seemingly nowhere. I was
happy to join this school and teach the kids what I knew. But that's not what
this job turned out to be. I expected to teach, little did I expect that I'd be
learning too. And the least did I expect to enjoy it too.
I often
wonder what my life would have been like, had I not been blessed to have joined
this institution. The memory of the first task that was given to me is still as
fresh as yesterday. I thought I had executed it well but the feedback I
received proved otherwise. Honestly, I thank that great teacher for her
constructive criticism. It was a boon that helped me strive for the creativity
that was expected from me.
Over the
years, I have seen myself change. I have grown as an individual. All the
recognition and appreciation that has come my way has made me more confident
than ever. I have undergone remarkable transformation in my personality,
language and work. The challenges that come my way every other day keep the
creative juices flowing. My association with this institution has expanded my
horizon. The tasks like conducting workshops, addressing guest speakers,
performing on stage, dancing, writing blog posts used to baffle me initially
but by the end of it I felt extremely satisfied and had a sense of achievement.
The faith entrusted on me by the management has played a vital role in what I
am today. They have forgiven my follies, guided me and shown confidence in me.
Their support has motivated me to give my best, always, and subjugate
impossible with possible.
